Titusville, Florida is a beautifully quaint town just about 30 minutes away from Cocoa Beach. Titusville has a wonderful charm about it's downtown area, which features several restaurants, shops. Titusville is a great choice, if you're looking to get a good view of a shuttle launch. The Kennedy Space Center is nearby, offering unobstructed views from the beach. |

What Florida vacation would be complete without a trip to DisneyWorld?!?!
There's no other place on earth like DisneyWorld and best of all, it appeal's to everyone from age 3 to 103. Although a pricey excursion, it's certainly worth the 45 minute trip from Cocoa Beach to spend a day in a ginat playground.
Additionally, there are several other theme parks in the Orlando area, including Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Universal Studios is an absolute hoot, if you're interested in roller coasters, thrill rides and other extreme pleasures. A ride on the Incredible Hulk roller coaster is as intense as it is fun! At SeaWorld, you're treated to several rides, fantastic sealife shows and exibitions.
Passes for multiple parks are available which can save you a few dollars, you may also wish to pack a lunch, as food and beverages within almost all the parks is quite expensive.

| Kennedy Space Center |
The John F. Kennedy Space Center is located in Cape Canaveral, just about 10 minutes up the Space Coast from Cocoa Beach. This major tourist destination offers many interesting and informative exhibits which is fun for the whole family.
As you may already know, Kennedy Space Center is where NASA actually launchs many of their space shuttles, probes and rockets. NASA owns much of the land around the Space Center, which it uses as a wildlife sanctuary. The actual launch facilities only occupy about 10% of all the available land.
KSC offers a visitor Complex consisting of museums, theatres and bus tours. The Rocket Garden is particularly popular and quite possibly the only chance you get to see and touch the huge NASA rockets which reside there.
Also of note is the Astronaut Memorial, a huge black granite mirror with the glowing names of the astronauts who lost their lives over the years.

Kissimmee, FL is found right beside Orlando and has numerous attractions, shopping facilities, leisure activities along with a wonderfully historic downtown area.
Historic Downtown Kissimmee features a variety of boutique shopping and some great dining. After undergoing 2 major re-development projects, the downtown area is a beautiful, quaint setting for a quiet afternoon.
